I welcome all of you with my love and respects.  I welcome all the devotees, disciples, samajis, satsanghis sitting with us all over the world through Nithyananda TV, Lotus TV, Eshwar TV, Janashree TV, and through two-way video-conferencing having Nayana Deeksha around the world.

Today, the 9^th day of Jayanthi Brahmotsava, Nithyanandotsava.  And, yesterday, we had the Devi Meenakshi’s marriage in the morning.  Today also all the deities – Vishnu, Meenakshi, Nithyanandeshwara, Subramanya – are all gracing the stage.  Swami’s Jayanthi Murthy is decorated in the Leela of Meenakshi’s Dig Vijaya Alankara – conquering all the eight directions.

 

Today, a very important day of the ten-day celebrations.  Today we will be having Devi Darshan.  It will be in the late evening any time.

And, today, we also will be receiving the padayatris in the temple.  Around 4 o’clock they will be reaching the temple.  All the Krama Brahmacharis will be doing Pada Puja to all the padayatris who are coming. 

 

And, tomorrow, we will be having Jayanthi Utsava.

 

And around sixty people will be receiving initiation; a minimum of sixty; still the number is yet to be finalised; it may go up to eighty people who are going to receive Sannyas Initiation, various initiations like Krama Brahmacharya, Naishtika, Sannyas.

 

I will give the essence of this whole year’s satsanghs. 

 

Earlier I was giving the essence of Integrity, Authenticity, Responsibility, Enriching.  The next word you need to learn, the experiential expression from Upanishad is – “SHRAVANA”, “Authentic Listening”.  Authentic Listening!

 

Whether you listen to your Guru, or to your neighbour, or to your enemy, LISTEN AUTHENTICALLY!  Whether listening to your Guru, or your neighbour, or your enemy – please understand, even to your enemy – listen authentically!  If you listen authentically to your enemy, you will understand he is not your enemy, he is a beggar standing in front of you because of his poverty, poverty about understanding life and you.  That is why I tell you, non-violence is not moral, non-violence is maturity!  Non-violence is not moral.  When I say, “non-violence”, “ahimsa”, I am not talking from the context of moral, I am not talking from the contest of the society being peaceful, I am not interested in Nobel Peace Prize.  When I say, “non-violence”, I am taking from the context of maturity, the spiritual maturity.  When you authentically listen, you will understand the beggar, the powerless fellow in your enemy.  First thing, you will lose fear about him. 

 

Whenever you are not able to control yourself, listen to yourself authentically.  There may be moments where, because of your anger, violence, you are not able to listen to you, you are not able to control you.  There may be moments where, because of lust and passion, you are not able to control you.  Please listen!  In all those moments, listen to you, provide authentic listening to yourself.  I tell you, including Lust, everything is only psychological pattern.  Lust or Sex is not biology, it is psychology.  Anger, or “fight or flight”, is not biology, it is psychology.  We are made to believe that the patterns like “fight or flight” are all survival instincts, that they are all connected to biology, which is not true.  Nothing is biology.  Your biology is just your dead body!  Nothing is biology.  Everything is psychology.  With this statement, I give you the great news, if everything is psychology, it is TRANSFORMABLE!  Understand, it is transformable! 

 

Just yesterday, I was talking to one of our devotees. He is a doctor.  He was explaining to me.  See, if you go to the temple and see the banyan tree, the roots we are moving them, but without disturbing them.  We are moving them a little for the temple construction.  You guys can expect next December 17, 2014, next Jayanthi, the temple will be inaugurated, because, yesterday, the sthapathis (temple artisans) have given the report that 75% of the material has already arrived into the campus, 75% of the material required is already in the campus, has reached.  So, our last five years of hard work is bearing fruit. 

Next year is also a very auspicious and important year.  See, in Indian calendar, once in every thirty-three years, every Jayanthi will have two Brahmotsavams.  For example, Karthigai, Karthik Maasa, Krithika Nakshatra, Poornima Thithi, that is the day the deepam is lit on Arunachala.  And once in thirty-three years, two pournamis (full moon days) will fall in Karthik Maasa on the same Nakshatra.  So, the temple will have to celebrate two Brahmotsavams.  Twice they will light the lamp on the top of the hill.  Same way, Chitra Maasa, Chitra Nakshatra, Devi Meenakshi got married.  So on the same day, on the same day in which she got married to Mahadeva, once in thirty-three years, two times, same Chitra Nakshatra and Pournami will come in Chitra month.  So, the Madurai Temple will have to do two Brahmotsavams.  Last year, two dashamis came in Purattasi month.  So, Tirupati Temple did two Brahmotsavams.  Next year, Margazhi Maasa, two Chitra Nakshatras will be happening.  We will be having two Brahmotsavams.  So, on December 17^th temple inauguration, and immediately, on January 13th, again one more Jayanthi Brahmotsava.  So, two Brahmotsavams will be happening next year as per the Vedic Calendar.  It happens once in thirty-three years.  Usually, that year will always be a very big positive breakthrough for all the Masters and the temples.  Once in thirty-three years, the Purattasi month will have thirty-five days.  You can expect the temple by next December 17. 

I was working on moving the roots of the Banyan Tree.  And, all of you should know, six months before I asked permission from the Kalpavruksha Banyan Tree if it is okay if we build the Maha Mandapa, and that we may have to move the roots a little bit, if it is okay to move it.  We didn’t want to destroy it.  And the Kalpavruksha not only said okay, it was happy and it said, ‘Don’t worry, I will align myself’.  When the transplanters started work, they said, ‘Swamiji, we don’t know, we cannot understand, we are in this field for so many years; suddenly this branch which is connecting the root which is supposed to be moved and the main tree, has gone to sleep!  Means, if we cut it, it won’t have any pain.’  I said, ‘What do you mean?’  They said, ‘We are in this field for so many years.  Now we can move this root.  It will not disturb the tree in any way.  I was shocked!  In the time I took the permission and laid the foundation, in those few days the tree has altered himself/itself – I cannot say “he” or “she” to refer to the Kalpavruksha, because two bodies are inside, one male and one female – it has adjusted itself. 

So I was discussing this with the doctor devotee.  He said, ‘Now medical science has developed so much, Swamiji.  You can make somebody tall, you can make somebody’s nose long, you can make somebody’s jaw big.’  I said, ‘What do you mean?’  He said, ‘Yes, Swamiji, you can!  It is possible!’  So, understand, even your biology is transformable, then what about psychology?  It is psychology!  Even your biology is transformable! 

So, next year, we will be having two Brahmotsavas – December 17th, 2014, and January 13th, 2015.

 

Listen, whenever you are not able to control yourself, give authentic listening to yourself, provide authentic listening to you, provide authentic listening to yourself.  Providing authentic listening to yourself is the first step in life.  Shravana, listening not just to others, but even to yourself!  Shravana! 

 

Manana: Intranalyzing.  Analyzing for the sake of internalizing – Intranalyzing. 

Shravana, Manana!

 

Nidhidhyasana: Radiating, experientially expressing.

Please understand, providing authentic listening to yourself is Shravana.  Providing authentic listening to others is Shravana.

 

And talking into the listening of yourself is Manana.  Talking into the listening of yourself is Manana, Intranalyzing.

 

Talking into the listening of others is Nidhidhyasana, experientially expressing, radiating.  Ability to talk into the listening of the listener is Nidhidhyasana, radiating.

Please understand, authentically listening to yourself and listening to others is Shravana.  Providing authentic listening to yourself and others is Shravana.

Talking into the listening of yourself is Manana. 

Talking into the listening of the listeners is Nidhidhyasana.

 

Listen!  Listen to these three words of Vedanta:  Shravana, Manana, Nidhidhyasana.  It is the essence of life.  Anything you want can be achieved with these three words.

Somebody was asking, ‘Swamiji, I understand the science of transformation, but can Hinduism give me what I want?’  I tell you, all the transformation sciences all over the world started from Hinduism, started from Sanatana Hindu Dharma!  Please listen, fortunately we were growing, our civilization was growing in a very fertile land between the rivers Saraswathi and Ganga.  This Saraswathi-Ganges civilization, very fertile land!  So, we didn’t have to work much for our food and survival needs.  And, fortunately, we were beautifully protected by the hills and oceans from all sides; Himalayas on one side and the oceans on the other side.  Highly protected, highly fertile land!  So, we neither have to fight too much for our survival nor have to sweat too much for our food and basic needs.  Now there is no need for violence for survival.  The geography provided such an amazing ambience for us to grow.  That is why I say, Bharata Varsha is built for enlightenment.  See, a land where there is extreme weather, there human-beings for survival sake naturally have to do so many things.  How to protect themselves from the extreme cold and from the extreme heat, so many things they have to do.  Naturally, they all might have been created, those countries are created for scientific development, to develop the pleasures, external comforts.  But this land, sacred land, the Punya Bhoomi is designed for the development of the Science of Transformation, the enlightenment sciences. 

 

And, our forefathers, ancestors had so much of time and intelligence, they developed unimaginable sciences related to Nature.  The Manonmaniya Vidya!   “Unmana” means “Awakening”.  “Manonmaniya Vidya” means “Awakening Inner”, the “Inner Awakening”.  Manonmaniya Vidya is the exact Sanskrit translation of the word “Inner Awakening”.  They developed the science of Manonmaniya Vidya, awakening the mind, inner space.  Understand, everything you see, whether it is the flower garlands, or the jewellery, or the Vahanas, everything is part of this Manonmaniya Vidya.  Manonmaniya Vidya, awakening your inner space, tirelessly moving in the path of Jeevan Mukthi, is the essence of this whole year’s satsanghs.

Please listen, I was reading an article by a very prominent Hindu leader where he was mentioning a beautiful idea.  I will express it in my own words.  See, for example, there is a civilization.  If one billion people are there in it, even if we kill the whole one billion people, the grass will have the memory of that civilization!  When the grass grows again, that civilization will come back!  But if you take away the history of that civilization from them, then it is gone, as if you are nobody, nothing has happened before you!  The civilization dies like a plant unwatered!  If a man is not given food or water, how he is left to die, same way if the history of a civilization is falsified, they are left to die.  That is what is happening to Hindu civilization.  Please understand, I will not be afraid if all our temples are broken and our people killed.  I will not be afraid that we will die.  We are Sanatana Dharma.  But now what is happening is not destroying our temples, or destroying our human-beings, it is destroying our history, the source of our strength! 

 

Understand, I was reading an article published by one American university on the ancient civilizations.  There are forty-six ancient civilizations which we have evidence that they existed at least for the last ten-thousand years.  Out of that forty-six, forty-five are dead.  Only one is alive.  And that is the Hindu Civilization!  But, now, the attack happening on the Hindu civilization is too complicated.  Falsifying the history is the worst genocide!  Please understand, falsifying the history is the worst genocide!  Killing millions of Jews didn’t kill, destroy the Jewish Civilization; but falsifying the history can destroy the civilization.  Please understand, O, Sanatana Hindu Dharmis, you have to wake-up and tell the right history to the world, stand up to match the history.  Actually, this was my message yesterday to all my Kotharis and Mahants. 

 

I was having a meeting with my Kotharis and Mahants. “Kotharis” means “Secretaries”, “Department Heads”.  “Mahants” means “Heads of Units”.  Yesterday I was having a meeting with my Kotharis and Mahants.  This was my message to all of them: ‘Tell the right history to people, the world, and stand up to match the history.’  Tell the Mahabharata to the world, and be like Krishna to prove that Krishna existed during those times.  Radiate the divinity, grace, valour, intelligence of Krishna to prove Krishna’s existence.  Radiate the dharma of Yudhishtira, dedication of Bhishma, charity of Karna, strength of Arjuna, power of Bhima, the Jyotish knowledge of Sahadeva, the intuition of Sahadeva!  Express all these!  Express all these!  Express all these!  Only then we will prove the history is true!  Tell the right history to the world, stand up to match the history, and prove to the world the power of the original Bharat civilization!

 

How the Vedic Civilization would have been I can imagine, because just now I tasted that in Bali and came back.  These falsifiers of history, I wanted to challenge them!  They go on telling that Hindus instigate religious riots.  I want to tell them, all majority Hindu countries are peaceful.  See Nepal; Hindus don’t instigate any instability there.  See Bali; in the last ten years, in the whole of Bali, only twenty murders have happened; out of that twenty, nineteen murders have been done by people who have come from outside; the Balinese born Hindu has done only one murder in the last ten years; understand the percentage: it is 000000.001%.  De-falsify the history of Bharat.  That will happen only by the strength of transformation, not by violence, not by violence, only by the spiritual strength, the power of transformation.

 

I will continue to expand on the essence of this whole year’s satsanghs in further satsanghs.

 

So, get ready.  Today, whole day, we have beautiful celebrations, receiving the padayatris, and many pujas, homas, celebrations.  Tomorrow, Avatar Day and Jayanthi Utsava, Nithyanandotsava! 

 

And 28th, 29th, 30th, 31st, four days we are going to have Think Tank meeting.  From all over the world, all the Mahants, Kotharis, Thanedars, Shrimahants, whoever is interested to become part of the Sangha, next level, are invited to participate in this Think Tank meeting.  The meeting is mainly about: I am planning to make all the services from me free! 

 

As a first step, from this year, every morning, Kalpataru Darshan free!  Every morning, after the satsangh, acharyas will be conducting the Kalpataru Meditation, and Kalpataru Darshan in the morning free every day, wherever I am – I will be travelling to different places – and in Bidadi also.  And it may happen even in the city, Bangalore.  So, listen, every morning free Kalpataru Darshan!  And, within the next two years, I am planning to make Inner Awakening free of cost!  But there should be some method to raise funds to support the Sangha and build the structure.  So, we are going to explore the alternative methods to raise funds and build the Sangha.  Anybody who wants to be part of this meeting is welcome.  Whoever wants to join this Think Tank meeting can come on the 28^th.  You can email programs@nithyananda.org.  After you come, we will interview you and then allot the group with which you are going to think through.  Then this four days’ meeting, whoever wants you can join.  The meeting will not be on two-way video-conferencing.  You will have to be physically in Bidadi to be part of this meeting, Think Tank meeting four days.

 

With this, I will move to the next segment of the morning satsangh. 

 

The Hosur devotees, without fail, every year come and offer their respects and worship in the temple.  I think these two groups never fail – Tiruvannamalai people to bring the Flag, and Hosur people to bring their respects to Nithyanandeshwara and Nithyananda.  They can come and offer their respects.  The Hosur group can come on to the stage and offer.
